How to Become the Person God Created You to Be

We all carry a vision of the me I could be—the person God is shaping us into versus who we often see today—and this message explores how to shrink that gap through grace-filled transformation, not willpower. Scripture reminds us that while physical training has value, training for godliness leads to lasting life and purpose (1 Timothy 4:8–10). Instead of cycling through guilt, effort, burnout, and quitting, God invites us to grow by grace—saved by grace and sustained by His power at work in us (Ephesians 2:8–10; 1 Corinthians 15:9–10). Spiritual growth is about direction over destination, faithful steps over instant results, and allowing God’s Word to guide us one step at a time (Psalm 119:105). Through life-giving community and examples like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, we see that true transformation flows from devotion to God, not pressure (Daniel 3).
