Give Hope through Disaster Relief
Clean-up Kits

This past year has been incredible. We've led more adults, students, and kids to Christ than ever before. Through our local and global partners, we've supported and served thousands, providing immediate aid like food, water, and essentials to those affected by Hurricanes Milton and Helene. View our Impact Report to see how your giving has made an eternal difference!

Current Initiative

We are now mobilizing across all our campuses to assist families suffering from the destruction caused by hurricanes and the California fires.

In December, we purchased 800 buckets for "Clean-up Relief Kits" and need your help to fill them with supplies and pack them. These kits will be delivered by our partner, Convoy of Hope, to affected families and will help replenish their warehouses for future emergencies. Thousands of people will receive help and hope—thank you!  Keep scrolling to see how you can help!

Local Outreach Partners

God's love is needed everywhere - but our mission field starts here in our own backyard. One of the greatest ways we make an impact in our communities is by coming alongside and supporting certain local non-profit ministries. Our goal is to work with them in order to be agents of change and transformation. We know everyone has different passions and places they desire to serve, so these ministries represent various needs and neighborhoods close to each of our campuses.
This ministry provides beds and the hope of Jesus to the Columbus area. Last year Bed Brigade donated approximately 600 beds. Volunteers can be part of the deliveries or the building of the beds. This is great for families and small groups!
Convoy of Hope is a faith-based humanitarian organization dedicated to feeding the hungry and bringing hope to communities in need, and Cypress supports them through financial donations, resources, and volunteer teams. From their World Distribution Center in Missouri, Convoy trucks deliver food and relief supplies across the U.S. and beyond, responding to disasters and supporting community events. With aid reaching over 130 countries and regional offices in Europe and Australia, Convoy of Hope tackles natural disasters, extreme poverty, and hunger on a global scale.
DNA offers programs that meet the physical and spiritual needs in the communities. Volunteers can help with Saturday morning pancake breakfast and a Kids Kloset, a monthly community meal. This is great for families!
Dublin1, previously known as Welcome Warehouse, supports Dublin City and School District residents struggling to meet basic needs because of job loss, underemployment, health crises, or other challenges. There are multiple volunteer opportunities including volunteering in the free shop, helping fulfill and deliver orders, sorting donations in the warehouse, and delivering mattresses for the bed donation program.
This ministry is serving our neighbors in the Hilliard area by ending poverty through life-changing relationships. They do this practically by offering an ESL program throughout the school year and a Summer Lunch Camp at a few locations. Volunteers can serve in various ways.
The Grove City Food Pantry provides groceries for families Monday through Friday. Volunteers can help load cars during pickup (this currently happens 12:00-2:00pm by appointment), bag groceries, and help organize the pantry. This is right across the street from our Grove City campus!
The Hope Center is the hub for helping those in need in Union County. The ministry includes a weekly meal, furniture bank, clothing store, and programming for youth.
This ministry works in the Grove City community to connect their hungry neighbors with nutritious food, stabilizing families today while helping them access resources for tomorrow so they can thrive for the future. They provide 140,000 meals each day in Central and Eastern Ohio. Volunteers can help sort and pack the groceries for families.
This ministry provides encouragement and tutoring help for kids at Leawood and Lindbergh Elementary. They also run a Summer Camp where kids hear about Jesus, they go through stations where they do academic, art, and physical activities. Year around Seven Baskets supplies weekend nutrition bags to kids in need of additional food support at home.

Kairos Prison Ministry

Kairos exists to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ and impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families.

Versiti Blood Drives

Versiti is another one of our local partners.
  • Every blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives. In the event of a large-scale emergency or disaster, having a ready supply of blood can be critical in saving lives and treating the injured.
  • Hospitals rely on donated blood for emergency surgeries, cancer treatments, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries.

Haiti

Sierra Leone

Ukraine

When a 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti,  thousands of lives were lost, countless communities were destroyed, and nearly the entire island was left without the single most vital resource: clean drinking water.
Thanks to you, Cypress was able to supply life-saving aid through our partner, World Hope. Your giving delivered 33,000 liters of water and supplies to Haiti during this time.
Thanks to you and your generosity, Cypress provided resources through our partner, World Hope, to rehab and redrill self-sustaining wells in Sierra Leone and Pate Bana. These wells daily offer clean water to hundreds of thousands of people and decrease the area's infant mortality rate from 30% to less than 1%.
Because of your faithful giving, Cypress provided resources to World Hope to help ship 220,000 pounds of medical supplies valued at over $7M dollars to the Moldova Ministry of Health. These supplies went to support over 300,000 refugees that have fled Ukraine. In addition, we helped fund the shipment of 3000 Med Packs to Ukraine and the training of 400 Ukrainian paramedics, firefighters, and workers on how to use the Med Packs to help save lives.

You can serve with Cypress any day!
