What is 2911?

2911 is our summer leadership program for junior and senior high school students and recent high school grads who want to grow in their faith and leadership like never before. Inspired by Jeremiah 29:11, this experience is designed to develop students personally, spiritually, and as leaders while helping them discover the hope, purpose, and future God has for them.


Program includes:

  • Teaching on biblical leadership and life principles

  • Meaningful relationships with other student leaders

  • One-on-one coaching and mentorship

  • Hands-on ministry training and opportunities to serve in Next Gen


Additional experiences:

  • Leadership lunch with the Senior Pastor

  • Transportation between campuses

  • Cypress merchandise

Details To Know

Dates: 8 weeks, from early June through the end of July. Students should expect approximately 12–15 hours per week. See the weekly schedule below.

Location: Alton Darby Campus

Transportation: Students are responsible for transportation to and from the Alton Darby Campus each day. Transportation will be provided when traveling between Cypress campuses.

Eligibility: Students entering their junior or senior year in Fall 2026, or students who graduated high school in Spring 2026.

Cost: Free

Absences: A maximum of two weeks of absences is allowed.

Example of Weekly Schedule

Monday (4-5 hours)
9AM: Small Group
10AM: All Staff Meeting (once a month)
11AM-2PM: One on one with Coach
12PM: Students Staff Meeting (if applicable)
1PM: Kids Staff Meeting (if applicable)

Tuesday (2-3 hours)
10AM: Campus Meeting (every other week)
11AM: One on one with Coach
12PM: Lunch, Leadership Teaching and Q&A with Senior Pastor, Cypress Staff and Marketplace Leaders (2x a month)

Wednesday (1 hour)
10AM: Biblical Principles and Spiritual Development Teaching (can video call in for meeting)

Thursday (3 hours)
5PM-8PM: Service (attend one, serve one)

Sunday (4 hours)
8AM-12PM: Services (attend one, serve one)
6PM-8PM: Students (if applicable)
